Hosted by iDE and the Posner Center:

Come participate in a coffee cupping event for “Moving up the Coffee Value Chain via Blockchain,” recent winner of the Posner Center International Collaboration Fund’s Arrow Innovation in Technology award.  Join iDE’s Honduras country director and project team as they share coffee sample with local roasters.  You can try some coffee and learn more about this exciting project.

Through this project, iDE and Bext360 seek to improve supply chain transparency through blockchain technology, linking farmers in Honduras directly to roasters in the United States.  This project will provide tangible experiences and lessons learned as evidence of how blockchain can successfully be applied to market-based interventions in global development.

Posner Center’s International Collaboration Fund catalyzes partnerships within our broad community of global development actors, leveraging the power of collaboration for greater impact. We fund projects, like this one, with the ability to build an evidence base, create replicable models, and help shift development practice towards greater impact.

This event is open to project guests and Posner Center Tenants/Members only.

No RSVP required.
