Data Visualization and Use with Kurt Wilson: Part 4

  •  December 8, 2022
     12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Join us for the last of a 4 part series to strengthen your data visualization and use.

Practical Data Visualization:

This month we will continue our deep-dive on practical data visualization. Kurt will present the practical how-to guidance from the blog and books of Stephanie Evergreen. Bring your current data viz projects, questions, and stories of success and struggle to share!

This session will utilize a ‘hybrid’ approach, so join us at the Posner Center if you are able and by Zoom if not.

Further Reading: But wait – there’s MORE! The Posner Center has offered a budget to support our community of practice, so we can provide the excellent book “Better Data Visualizations: A Guide for Scholars, Researchers, and Wonks” by Jonathan Schwabish to interested participants. We will also have two copies of “Data Visualization” by Stephanie Evergreen available in the Posner Library.

All registered participants will receive access to the recordings for all sessions, so don’t worry if you missed a previous session.

Location:

Join us either with the Zoom Link or at the Posner Center for International Development in person! Bring your lunch to enjoy during the session, and text Lauren at 608-219-3566 for building access. You can review the Posner Center’s current COVID-19 protocols here.

Notes:

This session is a part of our ongoing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Community of Practice. Typically, this group is open only to the Posner Center Community, but we wanted to make this series available to the public as well! You can click here to learn more about joining our global community and contact our Program Director with any questions.
