Sufferfest 2: Desert Alpine

Alex Honnold and I are full of bad ideas, and last summer we came up with an exceptionally terrible idea…” So began the original Sufferfest. Then, just as Honnold and Wright were beginning to recover, they decided it was time for their next big adventure. This time, though, they weren’t just men on a mission…they were men with a mission who teamed up with Elephant Energy to add some solar installations on the Navajo Nation to their route! Now, almost a year after their epic journey began, Sufferfest 2: Desert Alpine has won the Radical Reels People’s Choice Award at the Banff Mountain Film Fest, and their blend of adventure and philanthropy is stirring up valuable conversations among adventure athletes and the nonprofit sector.

Join Elephant Energy and the Honnold Foundation as they welcome Cedar Wright to the Posner Center at 6pm on March 12for a VIP viewing of Sufferfest 2: Desert Alpine. Stick around after the amazing film for your chance to ask Cedar your burning questions about climbing, filmmaking, suffer pup (you have to see the film!), philanthropy or life!

Tickets are just $15 and can be purchased here.
