Inclusive Hiring Practices 

Organizations working towards social change want to be comprised of diverse staff and create inclusive cultures. However, organizations may not know how initiate change in this area, even inadvertently utilizing exclusionary practices. In this Development Dialogue, Amy Stapleton from Building Bridges and Deme Yuan from Building Bridges and Chinook Fund will lead a conversation about inclusive hiring practices. They will focus specifically on the job description, including requests for salary history, use of a hiring range, and accompanying rubrics. Individuals are encouraged to come with questions, ideas, and their own experience to contribute to the dialogue.
