A Conversation About Care and Compassion For Our Common Home and Each Other
The Alliance Center (1st floor), 1536 Wynkoop St, Denver, CO 80202

Faith and sustainability are two areas often thought to conflict. But with the release of Pope Francis’ recent Encyclical, the global community now has an insightful and beautiful piece of writing that appeals to both environmental and spiritual sensibilities, and is helping millions to explore the notion that perhaps these two issues not only overlap, but may positively reinforce each other.

Our August Sustainability Series will feature a panel discussion, moderated by Governor Bill Ritter, among members of the religious and spiritual community. They will analyze the meaning and guiding advice of the Encyclical, and discuss the connection between faith, the earth and humanity, from a religious perspective. This will continue the important discussion the Pope has started with his groundbreaking Encyclical.

Please join us August 3rd from 5:30-7:30pm at The Alliance Center to be a part of this discussion, and to help bring our community together for the benefit of our common planet and common humanity.
