Development Dialogue: Listen. Read. Reflect.

  •  October 26, 2016
     12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Using Podcasts, Blogs and E-blasts to Stay Connected in International Development.

Join us for this Development Dialogue to delve into our collective practices for learning and staying on top of news within development, as well as how we reflect on our experiences within development. Our lead discussants come with a wealth of experience.

Mark Leon Goldberg is the co-founder of DAWNS Digest a daily digest of development news, the managing editor of the UN Dispatch, and the host of the Global Dispatches Podcast. He’ll share his experience working at the forefront of news and communications within international development, international relations and foreign policy.

We’ll also welcome your input on the lived experiences within development, supported by Gwen Mitchell, the founder of SalusWorld and host of 30 Seconds In, an original podcast that explores the real life experiences of aid and development more deeply than the typical 30-second anecdote.

Come ready to learn about their work using these mechanisms for communicating, their learning experience and add your own experience in learning, listening and staying up-to-date in this field.
