Doctors without Borders – A Voice from the Field … an Ebola Experience in Monrovia, Liberia

Sonia Graber is a Family Nurse Practitioner working in Community Family Medicine here in Denver.  Sonia has also participated in three Doctors without Borders (MSF) field missions, most recently in establishing a health facility in the context of Liberian eradication of Ebola. She will speak to the Ebola measures taken and lessons learned in Liberia as well as the October coalition military bombing of the MSF Trauma Center in Kunduz, Afghanistan.  Sonia’s breadth of experience opens for discussion the degree to which international health-related development work is necessarily attentive to global epidemics and warfare.

This event is free and open to the public! Sustainability Series regulars and newcomers are invited to contribute to this discussion of complex development challenges and opportunities.

The evening will begin with networking and Sonia’s talk will begin at 6:30pm.
