Join us for the Remember Sand Creek Memorial Fundraiser. Our initiative seeks to construct a permanent memorial to the victims of the Sand Creek Massacre on the Colorado State Capitol grounds. We hope that the memorial will raise awareness among visitors, help provide healing to the ancestors of those affected, and act as a daily reminder to Colorado lawmakers of the event which changed the plains forever.

Other guests will include tribal representatives from the Northern Cheyenne, Northern Arapaho, and Southern Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes, donors, and artist Harvey Pratt who is constructing the memorial. We have also invited Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell to be our guest of honor.

Ticket costs for the event will be $275 dollars that will go directly to the Sand Creek Massacre Memorial fund.
