A force of passion, Katie was named a Time Magazine Person of the Year in 2014 for her stunning courage and commitment in the face of Ebola.

Katie is now working to open hundreds of schools in the next 5 years in a country where 60% of kids don’t have access to school. One Person Acted is hosting this fundraiser to fund 2 new schools. Tickets are $125 and available here.
