The SID-US Annual Conference has been a Washington, DC tradition for development professionals for over 25 years. After the success of last year’s fully hybrid Conference, we are excited to once again provide both a virtual and in-person experience for an international community of attendees at our Annual Conference on Wednesday, May 24.

This year’s Conference theme is Power Shift: Defining the Next Decade of Development, sparking the conversation on the existing dynamics within the sector and moving the influence, including power, resources, voice, and agency, to a larger and more diverse set of key players. The 2023 Conference seeks to examine the shifts across the field that are shaping the next decade and beyond. Our programming will include sessions on health, climate change, refugees and migration, food insecurity, DEI, youth engagement, localization, and more.
