Analog Salon is your monthly vinyl listening party that mixes music, storytelling, and community.
This month, we’re honored to feature Catherine Beeson—arts manager, creative producer, violist, and community builder. Catherine has shaped programs with the Colorado Symphony, led the Longmont Symphony through pandemic recovery, and founded Loon Lake Live in New York’s Adirondacks. As Assistant Principal Violist with the Colorado Symphony and Creative Producer for Ensemble Faucheux, she continues to blur the lines between performance, teaching, and storytelling.
At Analog Salon #5, Catherine will take us on a journey through five songs that shaped her life—sharing the stories behind the soundtrack of her work and creativity.
Spinning before and after the talk: i.lind (Isaac Linder) is a DC-born, Denver-based DJ who loves nothing more than opening ears by sharing the strangest, most confounding and beautiful records from their collection with new listeners. As the host of the monthly radio show The Satin Tuning Fork on Great Circles Radio, you can hear them on the first Monday of every month, where they are just as likely to showcase new music from around the world as they are sound-art, spoken word, classical, psychedelic techno, early electronic music, dub, and noise music all within the same set.
