Data Visualization and Use with Kurt Wilson and Georgia Handforth: Part 2

  •  June 2, 2022
     12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Join us for the second of a 4 part series to strengthen your data visualization and use. This second session will build on concepts from the first session: how to activate audience awareness, and how to find points of connection and translate your data to effectively engage key audiences. The session will include a 20 minute review of an example exercise for planning audience-aware deliverables, followed by time for questions, reflections, and open discussion. If you missed session 1, email our Program Director at for the recording prior to the session.

But wait – there’s MORE! The Posner Center has graciously offered a budget to support our community of practice, so we can provide the excellent book “Better Data Visualizations: A Guide for Scholars, Researchers, and Wonks” by Jonathan Schwabish to interested participants. We will also have two copies of “Data Visualization” by Stephanie Evergreen available in the Posner Library.

Session Dates:

  • Part 1: March 10, 2022 | 12pm-1pm
  • Part 2: June 2, 2022 | 12pm-1pm
  • Part 3: September 8, 2022 | 12pm-1pm
