Dos and Don’ts of Smart AI Use: Navigating AI in Your Job Search and Career with Kat Labombarde
Join Tuesday Group member and independent consultant Kat Labombarde for a practical and interactive conversation about using artificial intelligence thoughtfully, effectively, and responsibly throughout your job search and professional life.
As AI tools become increasingly integrated into how we work, communicate, learn, and apply for jobs, many professionals are still trying to determine where these technologies add genuine value—and where they may create unintended challenges. Drawing on her own experiences navigating career transition and working alongside fellow professionals exploring AI tools, Kat will facilitate a candid discussion about the opportunities, limitations, and ethical considerations surrounding AI use in today’s workplace.
The session will explore practical applications for job seekers, common pitfalls to avoid, “anti-slop” principles for maintaining authenticity and quality, and ways AI can support—not replace—critical thinking, creativity, and professional judgment. Participants will also have an opportunity to share their own experiences, lessons learned, and questions through an open discussion format.
Whether you’re actively searching for your next role, curious about how AI is changing the workplace, or simply looking to learn from the experiences of others, this conversation will offer practical insights and a space for thoughtful dialogue about one of the most rapidly evolving tools shaping the future of work.
