Late summer and early fall mark a time of transition in Colorado gardens. This workshop will cover techniques for maintaining and harvesting warm-season crops, revitalizing soil, selecting cool-weather crops, and using season extension tools like row covers and mulching. Participants will also learn how to put their garden to bed at the end of the season, including cleaning up plant materials, caring for perennials, nurturing your soil, and selecting specific varieties of crops that can be grown in the overwintering fall garden. Resources for favorite garden catalogs will also be shared so you can get a jump start on planning for next year!
