🗣 TRAINING: Gender Specialist Foundations: Concepts, frameworks, tools and trends for gender equality and social inclusion in global development is happening in January 2024.

✷This training is for anyone seeking to build their skills and knowledge as a gender and social inclusion specialist in the international aid and development sectors. Using case studies and interactive exercises, participants will learn about core frameworks and tools for applying a gender lens to program analysis, design, action planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The training uses an intersectional feminist lens to reflect on current practices and trends around gender equality and social inclusion in development. Participants will reflect on how historical and political contexts – including colonialism – inform contemporary norms and assumptions about gender and sexuality, and the implications for our work and the sector as a whole.
