$14,000 Raised for Posner Center Organizations

On Saturday, June 3rd, the Posner Center participated as the non-profit partner for Cocktails on the Rocks, an event organized by Party B Cause. The annual event was held in the heart Morrison, Colorado overlooking Red Rocks Amphitheater and serves as a host for 30 of Colorado’s distilleries combined with music, food, and shopping.

The event combined the beautiful Colorado mountains with refreshing cocktails and ciders while benefiting the Posner Center and participating organizations within our network. Through the partnership, Posner Center was responsible for promoting and cultivating 70 volunteers to assist with running the event. Each volunteer who signed up selected their favorite Posner Center organization, who received $100 for each volunteer from the proceeds of the event. At the end of the day, $14,000 was raised in total benefitting the Posner Center and nonprofits including: AfricAid, ANAW, Children’s Future International, Colorado Haiti Project, Cottonwood Institute, DUG, Elephant Energy, Global Hope Network International, World Child Cancer, and Write our World.
