Come hear from Dr. Cobina Larston on a new and exciting project launching this month. Located in Aurora, Afrikmall will be a shopping mall featuring only African businesses – including restaurants from 6 different countries, barber shops, clothing stores, a food market and much more. The mall will not only be a way for African immigrants and refugees to promote their businesses, but also serve as an oasis for the diaspora communities to shop, dine and become involved in cultural events all in one place. Dr. Larston will also share information on the Afrikmall Foundation, a nonprofit branch of the project.
