Mini-Presentation: Sara Lance, 2016 $1 Million Opus Prize Laureate

Hear from a real leader in the humanitarian and development field, Sara Lance, the winner of the Opus Foundation’s 2016 $1 million grand prize. Sara founded the social enterprise Sari Bari to support women in Kolkata, India who were engaged in the sex trade or vulnerable to human trafficking. Through the social enterprise, women earn a living wage, healthcare benefits, a pension, tuition assistance for their children, and opportunities for professional advancement.

She’ll be speaking to our resident class of Regis’ Master’s in Development Practice students on Wednesday, September 20th for a mini-presentation, from 8:20-8:50. Join this gathering to learn from her experience. RSVP here for the class only.
