Film Screening: This Changes Everything

Trees, Water & People and The Posner Center for International Development are excited to presentThis Changes Everything, the documentary inspired by award-winning author Naomi Klein’s critically acclaimed bestselling non-fiction book, This Changes Everything.

Filmed over 211 shoot days in nine countries and five continents over four years, This Changes Everything is an epic attempt to re-imagine the vast challenge of climate change.The film based on the book presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines of climate change, from Montana’s Powder River Basin to the Alberta Tar Sands, from the coast of South India to Beijing and beyond. Director Avi Lewis poses the question, “What if confronting the climate crisis is the best chance we’ll ever get to build a better world?” The film attempts to “reimagine the vast challenge of climate change.”

The event will open with a blessing from Lakota elder, Henry Red Cloud, who is also featured in the film for his work bringing renewable energy and green job training to tribal lands. Each ticket also includes a free beer from Ratio Beerworks.
