Brandi McMichael is a dreamer, doer, and longtime community builder rooted deeply in Denver’s creative scene. She is the founder of Fashion Denver and the host and producer of CreativeMornings / Denver, where she brings people together through curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Music entered Brandi’s life early. After being adopted from the Philippines, she was raised on her mother’s acoustic guitar and lullabies, later singing in choir and Girls’ Ensemble. In the mid-’90s, music took hold in a new way when she became the merch girl for a punk band—an unexpected doorway that led her to recording her own songs, forming the band B.Sue, and performing around Denver and beyond for over a decade. Her music has always been simple, story-driven, and fueled by the people she played with and the rooms she played in.

Whether through music, fashion, or gathering creative communities, Brandi’s work centers on building spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and inspired. Her life has been shaped by songs, shared stories, and the belief that creativity is one of the strongest connectors we have.
