Business entrepreneurs are driving social change around the world. Come learn about some of the amazing Posner Center organizations working to address global poverty with market-based solutions. Speakers include:

  • Doug Vilsack, Executive Director of the Posner Center for International Development, building a community of innovators who grow lasting solutions to global poverty.
  • Julia Alvarez, Executive Director of Elephant Energy, which empowers off-grid entrepreneurs by providing access to affordable, clean, and practical energy technologies, and assists with initial capital and training. Light in every home. Clean air in every kitchen. Power in every hand.
  • Heather Fleming, CEO of Catapult Design, which is working to close the gap in equality by offering human-centered design consulting, research, and analysis to help entrepreneurs bring their ideas from concept to implementation. Design services for socially driven clients.
  • Patrick Riley, CEO of Global Accelerator Network, a group of over 50 accelerators on six continents, helping entrepreneurs to grow top companies. The global champion of the seed-stage, mentorship-driven accelerator model.
