🗣 TRAINING: Ending Violence Against Women: Intersectional approaches to understanding and addressing an extreme form of global inequality, with Dr. Nathalia Hernández Ochoa is happening in May 2023

Gender inequality has multiple expressions of violence against women that range from mild – such as discrimination and exclusion – to the most extreme, like femicide. In this training, we will explore and practice applying analytical frameworks, concepts, and tools for understanding and addressing violence against women. The training is rooted in intellectual, activist, and intersectional feminist analytical frameworks to provide a general yet profound understanding of how gender-based violence affects women and girls at a global scale. The course will also emphasize artistic forms of resistance. Participants will have the option to join a group project using artistic forms of expression to advocate for the elimination of violence against women.
