The Colorado School of Mines Humanitarian Engineering Program is hosting their 2nd annual Humanitarian Engineering Symposium with the mission to encourage students and professionals to incorporate the human-centered design approach into their engineering projects and explore the socio-technical nature of real-world problems. It will include guest speakers as well as discussions with local organizations to continue the conversation about social responsibility. The 2020 symposium theme is Environmental Justice. Join us to discuss and explore various engineering problems facing the environment and communities, viewed through a socio-technical lens.
