Religion, Colonialism, and Development: A Workshop for Practitioners

  •  January 20, 2023
     12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Building on the Posner Center’s Symposium on Decolonizing Development, this practitioner-focused workshop, put on by the Korbel School of International Studies, will examine the legacies of religious colonialism impacting development work today. These legacies continue to shape the religious dynamics of former colonies, but also several core assumptions of most international development work. For workshop itself, from 12 Noon to 4 pm, both in-person and virtual participation will be available. However, we would be most pleased if you could join us for lunch prior (11 am- 12 noon), drinks and small plates after (4-5 pm), or both.

In-person will take place at The Forum, Sie Complex, University of Denver – 2201 S Gaylord St, Denver, CO 80210
