MINDFULNESS FOR LIFE is a 90-minute follow-up to the Women’s Leadership Retreat, sponsored by the Global Livingston Institute and Africa Development Promise. The meeting, to be held entirely on Zoom, will take place July 26, 2020.
The session will include exploring the concept of mindfulness, and how we can more fully apply this idea to our daily lives. Participants will leave feeling more empowered and equipped with easy-to-implement tools helping to prevent upset and distraction in work and life.
We will explore how mindfulness assists us in discovering our purpose and passions, setting boundaries, and specifically on cultivating the practice of self-care so we can live a more fulfilling, peaceful, and joyful lives.
These practices and awareness promote our ability to achieve our goals in a more deeply meaningful way. We will focus on applying these principles to all areas of life, including with ourselves (at home and at work), our families, in our local and global community.
Participants will be encouraged to find a deeper sense of empathy and compassion and be inspired to come from an authentic place of love, peace, and joy in order to live with more mindfulness at work and home.
