Carolyn has been working at the intersection of social and environmental justice for over 15 years. Her work has focused on initiating and developing projects in the USA and around the world, with a heavy focus in East Africa. Her leadership has included founding innovative and impactful education programs, building sustainable food business models and inspiring others to action through community-driven events.

Most recently, she founded the Rebel Spirit Collective which engages the connective power of story to catalyze collective action across diversity. As an expert facilitator, coach and strategist, Carolyn weaves together exploration and expansion to invite innovative solutions to the ever-challenging, ever-evolving world of development. She is a writer, singer, speaker, facilitator, chef and yogi dedicated to creating more space for diversity and connection to thrive. She thrives when connected to people and the planet.
