Planned giving can be an important strategy for ensuring the financial health and long-term security for organizations, but many organization are so immersed in day-to-day fundraising that it’s hard to truly build for the future. Come to this lunch & learn to understand the basics of planned giving. What does that mean? What are some common giving mechanisms for these kinds of gifts? What do organizations need to put in place to build towards a planned giving program?

About the presenters

Dan Morris has spent more than 15 years on various non-profit advisory boards, board of directors, and active community leader for charitable needs. He sits on advisory council for Community First Foundation and speaks regularly on financial well-being topics and strategic planning. Dan is a fiduciary, financial advisor with High Point Financial Group based in Lakewood, CO.

Annie Kiser is the Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Global Health Disrupted. While wearing many hats, she also oversees GHD’s accounting, treasury, and investment objectives, insuring alignment with the organizations goals, core values, and growth trajectory. Additionally, Annie has a financial services practice in partnership with New York Life specializing in the non-profit and philanthropic market.
