Reframing Poverty

  •  November 12, 2019
     11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Join us for an interactive conversation with Eric Meade, author of Reframing Poverty, a provocative new book about poverty. Together with Posner Center tenant Kurt Wilson (Effect X, LLC), Eric will lead a discussion of how our thoughts and feelings about poverty impact how we approach our work on poverty out in the world. Poverty is an emotionally charged topic, so be ready for conversations that are engaging and that may challenge your core assumptions. The result will be a clearer sense of what you believe and why, and greater effectiveness as you go about your work to reduce poverty in the world.

Effect X will provide a vegan / gluten free Middle Eastern lunch.

Please RSVP before midnight on November 11 for lunch. Email if registration has closed.
