     8:00 AM - 9:30 AM

Posner Center

Featuring Jonathan Saiger, Senior Operations Advisor, Infrastructure, Environment, and Private Sector Division

The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is an independent and innovative U.S. foreign aid agency that partners with the best-governed poor countries to reduce poverty through economic growth. MCC’s model is based on competitive selection, country-led solutions, and data-driven decision-making. Haven’t heard about MCC? Heard about them and want to learn more? Interested in what innovation in government looks like? Attend this breakfast presentation to learn more.

MCC’s Jonathan Saiger will share more about how MCC works, from its country-led approach to its rigorous selection process and the creation of five-year compacts. He’ll provide examples from the current Liberia Compact, and engage in a Q&A about how NGOs and the private sector can engage with the Millennium Challenge Corporation.

This event is open to the public. Breakfast will be provided.
