Mike Shanley, Chief Executive Officer

Mike Shanley spent nearly 20 years of his career working with USAID and its partners, leading business development and project management activities across five continents. He has overseen tens of thousands of hours of USAID consulting support to more than 60 clients: from established USAID prime implementers, to small businesses and subawardees, and new entrants to the USAID market. He founded Konektid in 2013, after years of working at Chemonics International, a large USAID implementing partner. Mike regularly speaks on the USAID funding market at aid conferences and events around the world, including with USAID and Devex, and he sits on the Board of Directors for the Society for International Development-US. Mike started his career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine. He also serves as CEO and Founder of AidKonekt Data: the USAID business development intel software.

Christy Hollywood, Chief Operating Officer

Christy Hollywood supports Konektid clients and consultants with skills honed during 20+ years of leadership in international development, professional services, and consulting organizations. She led a successful consulting firm (Hollywood & Associates, Ltd) for 11 years before joining market leader Konektid.

Previously, she served as Vice President of Cardno (a large USAID and MCC contractor, now part of DT Global). There she oversaw business development, marketing, communications, and proposal recruiting and, as part of the Executive Committee, shared responsibility for all operations. She held pivotal business development roles at KPMG’s Emerging Markets Group, RTI International, PATH, as well as Fidelity Investments and Noblis. As an employee, she established and led turnaround of four business development units. As a consultant, she has advised on process improvements at many small, medium, and large organizations – and provided interim BD and regional leadership.

A recognized expert in business development consulting, she’s authored several articles and is five-time invited presenter at international conferences on proposal management, competitive intelligence, and business development.
