Posner Center Funds Training Center

Construction is underway on a new training center in the Wasiko district of Uganda, thanks to a partnership between Africa Development Promise and Edge of Seven.

The center will support Epaphroditus Cooperative Society, a women’s agricultural cooperative, by providing them a space for basic office operations and facility for educational training. This will increase the business skills of the women entrepreneurs involved in the cooperative.The construction team continues to make progress, and they look forward to officially opening the facility in late August.

This work was made possible by support from the Posner Center’s International Collaboration Fund (ICF). The ICF supports innovative projects that foster partnerships between Colorado-based international development organizations working to combat global poverty. These grants support partners to build capacity, explore new directions, fuel action, and improve the knowledge base and impact of the Posner Center network.
